Bad weather de-energizes 170 towns and villages countrywide, - State Emergency Service

Heavy snawfalls, violent wind gusts have left 170 populated areas in six regions of Ukraine without power.
"On Dec. 13, bad weather conditions (snow, wet snow and wind gusts) caused blackouts in 170 populated areas in six regions, in particular: the Chernivtsi region – 85 populated areas, the Kyiv region – 40, the Sumy region – 30, the Kerson region – 9, the Kirovohrad region – 4, and the Mykolaiv region - 2," the State Emergency Service of Ukraine said in a statement, Censor.NET reports citing Ukrinform.
Emergency teams of Oblenerhos - regional power distribution companies - have started carrying out required repairs to resume energy supply.
