Criminal proceedings launched against Censor.NET editor-in-chief Butusov

Investigators are studying a video posted by Censor.NET Editor-in-Chief Yurii Butusov on his Facebook page as part of criminal proceedings.
This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to the press service of the SBI.
On November 28, 2021, the journalist posted a video of him firing 152-mm D-20 howitzers. He accompanied his shot with the words: "Fire on the occupiers.", but the publication of such materials harms the information security of the Ukrainian state and allows representatives of the aggressor state to increase pressure on Ukraine, - said in a statement.
The SBI stressed that all the circumstances of the publication and recording of the video of the cannon shot, which was presented by Yurii Butusov, will be checked.
"Including in accordance with Article 414 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (Violation of the rules of handling weapons, as well as substances and objects that pose an increased danger to the environment) and Article 437 of the Criminal Code (Planning, preparation, resolution and conduct of aggressive war). According to preliminary conclusions, the incident took place outside the environmental protection zone. But the society will receive a full and comprehensive response after a detailed inspection, "the SBI said.
Later, the editor-in-chief of Censor.NET posted a video on his Facebook page, in which he shoots from a howitzer in military uniform. "I must admit that I may be involved in the deaths of some people in Donbas - but only in the deaths of the Russian occupiers, terrorists and murderers of the Ukrainian people. who trust me because they don't trust the Russian agency in the power which tries to merge "Donbas", - he wrote under the video.
Butusov stressed that the video was shot a long time ago, from the training of territorial defence units of one of the regions of Ukraine. "This is definitely not the present time, because I am currently in Kyiv," he said.
