During the full-scale war, Ukrainian servicemen mastered more Western weapons than the armies of some NATO countries.
The only things left are tanks and aircraft, which the allies do not agree to give to Ukraine, noted Defense Minister Oleksii Reznikov, reports Censor.NЕТ.
Reznikov stressed that when he was appointed Minister of Defense a year ago, his main priority was to ensure Ukraine's de facto accession to NATO.
"This has already happened, given the level of interoperability of our army with the armies of NATO countries. The full-scale invasion of Russia has not broken us. On the contrary, it has shown internal strength. Which has already destroyed the myth of the "second army of the world". Our soldiers have mastered more types of Western weapons than some countries of the Alliance. Tanks and aircrafts remain. I am confident that we will soon take this height as well," the Minister said.
He stressed that Ukraine is developing an integrated system of air and missile defense, establishing itself on land, in the air, at sea and in cyberspace. The Ukrainian army not only implements, but also improves existing and sets new military standards, proven on the battlefield, Reznikov said.
The Minister is confident that any system of collective security of the free world without Ukraine will be much weaker, and Ukraine has gained in battle the right to determine its future and place in the world.
"There are still many challenges, pain and losses ahead. But we will definitely win. We will rebuild and restore everything that the orcs destroyed. We will do better than it was. And we will not forget. All those who fell in battle, all our citizens killed. We will not forget the crimes of the occupiers. For everything they have done, the murderers will be held accountable. Generations of descendants of these war criminals will pay for it," the Minister said.
