Prosecutor’s Office of the Netherlands will not appeal the court decision in the MH17 case against three Russians and one Ukrainian.

This is stated by Censor.NЕТ with reference to Ukrinform.

"The Prosecutor's Office is satisfied that the decision clarified the factual circumstances related to the downing of flight MH17 on July 17, 2014. The prosecutor's office also notes that the court generally agreed with the arguments of the prosecutors both on the evidence of the incriminated offenses and on the punishment to be imposed," the Dutch prosecutor's office said in a statement.

Therefore, the Dutch prosecutor's office does not intend to appeal against the court's decision in this case and considers it final.

As reported, on November 17, the court in The Hague found Russian terrorist Igor Girkin (Strelkov), General of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces, the head of the "self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic" Serhiy Dubinsky and Ukrainian citizen Leonid Kharchenko guilty of shooting down the flight MH17 and killing 298 people, they were sentenced to life imprisonment. They also have to pay 16 million euros in compensation. Lieutenant Colonel Oleg Pulatov was acquitted.

At the same time, the prosecutor's office demanded life imprisonment for all four.
