There are children’s torture centers in occupied territories - Lubinets
Dmytro Lubinets, the Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights, said that the Russian military is setting up torture chambers for children in the occupied territories.
As reported by Censor.NET with reference to Suspilne, he stated this in a report on observing the rights of victims of Russian aggression against Ukraine.
"There are children's torture chambers in the occupied territories. I thought the bottom could not be broken after Buchi, Irpen. I saw two torture chambers in Balaklia; one boy was there for 90 days and was taken out to be shot. There are ten torture chambers in Kherson, one of which has a separate cell where children were kept ", the ombudsman said.
According to Lubinets, the children were given water every other day, not food, and told that their parents had abandoned them.
"There was one detained boy who took a photo of Russian equipment on his phone and was kept in a torture chamber with the use of torture," the ombudsman added.
