Oil supplies from Russia fell to lowest level in December - Bloomberg

Crude oil supplies from Russia over the past four weeks have fallen to its lowest level in 2022 - after restrictions imposed on Russia due to its aggression against Ukraine.
It is reported by Bloomberg agency, informs Censor.NЕТ with a reference to Ukrinform.
"Total maritime traffic in the country fell by 117 thousand barrels per day - to 2.615 million barrels on average for four weeks," the report said.
At the same time, attention is drawn to the fact that the cargoes of Russian oil to China, India and Turkey, which became a salvation for the Kremlin after European restrictions, decreased for the third time in a row.
In addition, it is noted that the decrease in traffic from the Black Sea and Pacific ports last month was also affected by storms. Thus, in December, loading in the Russian port of Kozmino was stopped for 11 days due to bad weather.
At the same time, the lack of ships for the long-distance transportation of cargoes, which will be needed by the Russian Federation after the EU ban on maritime imports of crude oil, may play its part.
