Fighting for Soledar continues, - General Staff
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine released operational information on the Russian invasion as of 18.00 on January 13.
According to Censor.NЕТ, this is stated in official Facebook of AFU.
The statement reads: "The three hundred and twenty-fourth day of the Russian large-scale invasion continues.
During the day, the enemy launched 2 missile strikes on the civilian infrastructure of Kostyantynivka, Donetsk region, as well as 8 air strikes on the positions of our troops. He made more than 40 attacks from multiple rocket launchers.
There is a danger of enemy air and missile strikes on the whole territory of Ukraine.
The situation in Volyn, Polissia, Siversk and Slobozhansk directions remained without significant changes, no enemy offensive groups were detected. At the same time, mortar and artillery shelling took place in the areas of the settlements of Ohirtseve, Vovchansk, Budarky, Mali Prokhody, Ternova, Bilyi Kolodyaz, Bologivka, Dvorichna and Hryhorivka in Kharkiv region.
In the Kupyansk direction the enemy fired at the areas of Vilshana, Kupyansk, Orlyanka, Kyslivka, Tabaivka and Berestove in Kharkiv region and Stelmakhivka in Luhansk region.
In the Lyman direction Makiivka, Nevske and Chervonopopivka in Luhansk region were hit by fire.
In the Bakhmut sector, the enemy fired at Spirne, Bilohorivka, Rozdolivka, Yakovlivka, Soledar, Krasna Hora, Bakhmut, Klishchyivka, Kurdyumivka, Druzhba and Pivnichne in Donetsk region. The battles for Soledar continue.
In the Avdiivka direction Krasnohorivka, Avdiivka, Maryinka, Berdychi, Vodiane and Novomykhailivka of the Donetsk region were shelled.
In the Novopavlivsk direction Vuhledar, Vremivka and Zolota Niva of Donetsk region were shelled.
In the Zaporizhzhia direction, enemy tank and artillery attacks were registered in the areas of Vilne Pole in Donetsk region and Gulyaypilske, Shevchenko, Charivne, Gulyaypole, Mala Tokmachka, Orikhiv, Kamianske, Zelenyi Hai and Malynivka in Zaporizhzhia.
In the Kherson direction the suburbs and the city of Kherson were shelled.
The enemy continues to suffer losses. Thus, to replenish the shortage of medical personnel, the Novotroitsk Central District Hospital in the temporarily occupied territory of the Kherson region received replenishment from among the military medics of the armed forces of the Russian Federation. As of January 12, 2023, there were up to 160 wounded occupants in the hospital, equipped as a military hospital.
During the day, Ukrainian aviation struck 9 strikes on the areas of concentration of the invaders, and our missile and artillery units hit the control point, 6 areas of concentration of manpower, 1 anti-aircraft missile system and 3 ammunition depots of the enemy."
