US and G7 allies ready for additional sanctions against Russia, - US Treasury Secretary

The United States and its G7 allies might impose new sanctions against Russia due to its policy towards Ukraine.

This was announced by the U.S. Treasury Secretary Jacob Lew, Censor.NET informs citing Interfax-Ukraine.

Lew is quoted by U.S. media as saying that the U.S. and its G7 allies are ready to implement additional sanctions against Russia if necessary in response to its aggressive activities in the east of Ukraine.

As reported earlier, Ukraine's Prime Minister Arsenii Yatseniuk and Finance Minister Natalie Jaresko are visiting the U.S. at the moment.
