Full liberation of Ukraine can happen this year already, - Johnson

Former Prime Minister of Great Britain Boris Johnson expressed his firm belief that the war in Ukraine with the complete liberation of its territories can end in 2023, and this is the best option not only for Ukraine and the West, but also for Russia.
He told about this on Tuesday at a meeting with journalists in the Ukrainian House in Washington, as reported by Censor.NET with reference to Ukrinform.
"We have to make sure that our Ukrainian friends get what they need to expel the Russians from the entire territory of Ukraine as soon as possible," Johnson said, adding that the aid should go without delay.
He expressed his belief that the liberation of Ukrainian territories "can happen in the current year of 2023", and this is the best option not only for Ukraine.
"I think that this is the best for the West, but also for Russia," the ex-prime minister noted.
He emphasized that the "catastrophe" perpetrated by Putin must be ended as soon as possible.
"What Ukrainians are doing - and I've seen it with my own eyes several times - is fighting on behalf of everyone (us), they are fighting for freedom all over the world, they are fighting for people in Georgia and Moldova, in the Baltic countries and Poland - everywhere , where there is a risk of Russian revanchism or a desire to rebuild the old Soviet empire," Johnson emphasized.
Therefore, continued the ex-head of the British government, he remains an ardent supporter of Ukraine.
