Former Minister of Internal Affairs Arsen Avakov was searched in the case of a helicopter crash in Brovary.
As reported by Censor.NET, Avakov confirmed this information in a comment to Babel.
According to the publication, the search related to the crash of a helicopter in Brovary, Kyiv region on January 18, 2023, when the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs died. During the searches, contracts for Airbus rotorcraft, which France has been supplying to Ukraine since 2018, were looked at.
According to the UP, the searches were carried out by the SSU and the SBI.
In a comment to the publication, Avakov said: "We finished the search regarding the helicopter accident. We looked at the Airbus contracts from 6 years ago. One thing is for sure - nothing. The contracts were approved by the government and the parliament. They were conducted correctly, even if it was pointless. They formally worked out the version."
Also remind, on the morning of January 18 in Brovary, an aircraft crashed into a social infrastructure facility. Later it became known that the rotorcraft fell near a kindergarten and a residential building.
Later it became known that the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs died as a result of the plane crash. According to detailed information, after the identification, 14 dead people were found at the place of the helicopter crash, including 1 child and 9 people who were on board. 25 people were injured.
