Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said that Ukraine may send several dozen rescuers to Turkey to help clear rubble after an earthquake.

It is reported by Censor.NЕТ referring to statement of Dmytro Kuleba, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, at the national telethon.

"We never do anything to harm the interests of Ukraine. That is why such a number, several dozen, of Ukrainian rescuers will be able to help Turkey, our neighbor, our friend, without harming the capabilities of rescue services in Ukraine."

Kuleba clarified that the Foreign Ministry had consulted with the Ministry of Internal Affairs on this issue.

The Foreign Minister said that the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry has received more than 20 appeals from Ukrainian citizens who cannot contact their relatives in Turkey.

"As of now, we have no information that any Ukrainian citizens were injured in the earthquake, but the rubble is being cleared, so the information will be updated."
