Russian aggression has complicated China’s relations with world, - White House
The war unleashed by the Kremlin against Ukraine has put China in a difficult position where any support it provides to Russia will complicate relations between Beijing and the countries of Europe and the rest of the world.
According to Censor.NЕТ, White House spokeswoman Karin Jean-Pierre said on Friday, reports correspondent of Ukrinform.
"We have not yet seen China take any steps to (provide Russia with) lethal weapons. We believe that Russia's war in Ukraine has put China in a difficult position," the White House official said.
She emphasized that every step China takes toward Russia complicates its interaction with Europe and the rest of the world.
Jean-Pierre noted that the United States has repeatedly expressed its position to the Chinese side, including during a meeting in Munich between Secretary of State Blinken and Chinese representative Wang Yi.
This topic, according to the White House spokeswoman, was discussed "very clearly."
