Russia continues terrorizing civilians in South of Ukraine - OC South

Russian armed groups are conducting constant attacks on Ukrainian territory to intimidate civilians.
As informs Censor.NЕТ, this was reported by Natalia Humenyuk, head of the Defense and Security Forces press center of the operational command "South", during a telethon on Suspilne TV Channel.
"The situation remains quite difficult as the enemy continues to shell civilian settlements, in particular, the de-occupied Right Bank. Also, shelling from the direction of the Kinburn Spit across the Dnipro-Bug estuary continues from time to time - the enemy terrorizes the local population with fire to keep people in constant tension," the official said.
According to her, Russian shelling is constantly killing and injuring people, such as during the morning shelling of a supermarket in Kherson.
"As for the occupied territory of the Left Bank, the enemy is trying to terrorize people there, continuing to take away land and surface vehicles. Once again, we destroyed two boats that they had set up as subversive reconnaissance groups and tried to move towards the islands in the Dnipro delta," noted Humenyuk.
According to her, Russian activity towards the islands is not systematic, but situational. At the same time, the Defense Forces are constantly striking at Russian positions in the occupied part of southern Ukraine.
"An ammunition depot near Oleshky was destroyed. But the enemy continues to shell the settlements of the left bank along with our work in order to intimidate people, identify those who support Ukraine and the resistance movement," she noted.
Natalia Gumenyuk added that Russia has reduced the number of its warships in the Black Sea due to worsening weather conditions.
"Stormy weather is getting worse in the Black Sea. Because of this, the missile carriers have been brought to their basing points, the ship grouping has been reduced to 4 units. These are, in particular, surface reconnaissance ships that are also trying to launch UAVs. But the wind is so strong that no such activity has been noticed so far," the spokeswoman explained.
