Ukraine protects Moldova from war, - Sanda
By itself, Moldova is weak and vulnerable. Only in the EU can one live in prosperity, calm and peace.
As reported by Censor.NET with reference to NewsMaker, this was stated by President Maia Sandu during a speech in the parliament.
"I know that many of you believe that Moldova will not be able to join the EU. But this is not an illusion. No matter how disappointed you were, we did not stop believing in our country. The Europeanization of Moldova can unite everyone for a good goal - the future of our children and the country. I am not here to talk about miracles. I know that it is difficult to live in Moldova, I know that the prices have been hit more than others, I know that you have to work (hard) from morning to night." she said.
Sandu also said that as long as Ukraine is defending itself against Russia's attack, there is no threat of war for Moldova.
