Negotiations on Ukraine’s accession to the EU can begin in the near future if all member states of the bloc can be convinced.
This was stated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic Jan Lipavsky, Censor.NET informs with reference to RBC-Ukraine.
"I can imagine it, but there must be a consensus in the entire EU-27," said the head of the Foreign Ministry.
At the same time, many EU countries are skeptical, and the Czech Republic, according to him, is trying to allay their fears.
Lipavsky also added that Ukraine will have to fulfill all the conditions and "will not be able to use any relaxations" in this regard.
