Air defense destroyed 18 "Shahed" out of 24 launched by Russians over Ukraine and reconnaissance UAV, - Air Force

On the night of 4 May 2023, the enemy again attacked with Shaheds from the north (Bryansk region) and from the south - the eastern coast of the Azov Sea.

This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to a Telegram from the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

"The occupiers used up to 24 Shahed-136/131 attack drones.

This time, the forces and means of the Air Force, in cooperation with the air defence of other components of the Ukrainian Defence Forces, destroyed 18 attack UAVs.

Combat operations were conducted in the northern, central and southern regions of Ukraine. Anti-aircraft missile weapons, aircraft and mobile fire groups were used in the areas of responsibility of the "South" and "Centre" Air Commands," the statement said.
