Air alert announced in Kyiv and several regions
In evening of May 13, an air alert was declared in Kyiv and a number of regions.

It is noted that monitoring channels report that 7 Russian Tu-95 aircraft took off. All took off from the Olenya airfield (near Murmansk).
Vitalii Bunechko, head of the Zhytomyr Regional Military Administration, reported the threat of a missile strike by enemy strategic aviation.
"Do not neglect the air raid alarms. Stay in shelters. We remind you of the ban on filming and publishing air defense footage," he wrote.
Meanwhile, the head of the Ternopil Regional Military Administration, Volodymyr Trush, urged people to take shelters.
According to "Suspilne", local residents report that explosions were heard in Ternopil and the region.
The Telegram channel of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine called on Ukrainians to keep information silence.
The mayor of Ternopil, Serhii Nadal, urged residents to stay in shelters.
"I ask you to stay in a safe place until the end of air alert. Do not post photos and videos. Believe in the Armed Forces! Ukraine will win!" he said.
In addition, air alert has been declared in Kherson and Kharkiv regions.
