Ukraine’s NATO membership should be discussed after war, - Wallace
British Defense Secretary Ben Wallace said that the issue of Ukraine’s accession to NATO would be resolved after the war.

"We can't talk about Ukraine's membership in NATO right now, not now. Ukraine is in the middle of a war," Wallace said.
The minister noted that it is important to build Ukraine's resilience and defense capabilities against Russia during and after the war.
Wallace noted that it is necessary to help Ukraine come to NATO standards.
"I believe that the biggest obstacle for Russia is a post-war Ukraine that is able to integrate with every international partner it wants to," he said.
The political decision on Ukraine's accession to the Alliance will be made by 31 states. The UK is in favor of Ukraine receiving a roadmap for accession, the British defense minister said.
Wallace emphasized that it is now important to help Ukraine "defend its country, then build [defense] resilience, and only then have a discussion about [NATO] membership."
