The Bundeswehr does not have F-16 fighters at its disposal, so Germany’s participation in the "aviation coalition" is not discussed.

Chancellor of Germany Olaf Scholz told about this in an interview for ntv and RTL, Censor.NET informs.

"Germany's participation in the possible supply of combat aircraft to Ukraine is not discussed. Firstly, everyone knows that we do not even have such aircraft," Scholz said.

The chancellor welcomed the plan to train Ukrainian pilots on F-16 fighter jets, regardless of how long this initiative would take.

It will be recalled that Scholz called the training of Ukrainian pilots on fighter jets a signal for Russia not to hope for success in the invasion of Ukraine.
