Zaporizhzhia NPP has lost external power supply and is now running on generators, - Russian mass media
The Russian invaders said that they switched the Zaporizhzhya NPP to generators due to the shutdown of the 750 kV Dnipro transmission line.
This is reported by the Russian mass media, Censor.NET informs.
"The Zaporizhzhia NPP has been switched to diesel generators due to the shutdown of the Dnipro transmission line, the station has lost external power supply," the message says.
The occupiers assure that the level of radiation at the NPP site, in the sanitary protection zone, and in the surveillance zone is normal.
Energoatom NAEC and IAEA experts at the ZNPP did not comment on this statement.
It will be recalled that the occupiers stopped draining the Kakhovka reservoir. An excessive level of water in it can negatively affect the safety of the Zaporizhzhia NPP.
