Poland consulted with US even before announcement of decision on F-16 for Ukraine

The head of the Bureau of National Security, Jacek Siever, advocates a greater role for Poland and this region in the formation of European security.
This is reported by Censor.NET with reference to Polske Radio.
According to him, today's Russian policy does not give hope for peaceful cooperation in the coming years, and therefore requires further joint actions of the West.
"The sanctions policy still remains a tool of pressure, which must be strengthened by the EU and the G7 countries. We have a mission to convince countries that are still hesitant to minimize dependence. We must get rid of illusions that appeasing gestures towards the Kremlin can bring peace. Poland stands for, so that the Russian aggressor would save face. The real face is the face of a murderer, a criminal, who should be sentenced for his deeds by democratic courts," Siever said.
"We are pleased with another gesture of support, this time from the G7 countries, we gladly accepted the US decision to support the aviation coalition for Ukraine. We were in contact with the US side even before the announcement of this decision, regarding the training of F-16 aircraft pilots. It is very important that society understood how much these efforts affect the safety of our citizens," he added.
