Discussions on future security model for Ukraine continue - White House
United States, together with its allies and partners, continues to discuss what security model to choose for Ukraine in future.
This is how White House spokesman John Kirby commented on recent reports about the preparation of an "Israeli" security model for Ukraine, informs Censor.NЕТ referring to Ukrinform.
"We are having discussions with Ukraine and our allies and partners, including our NATO allies, about the long-term security of Ukraine," the White House National Security Council official said.
Kirby assured that Ukraine will have long-term security, and this is one of the reasons why President Biden agreed to train Ukrainian pilots on F-16s, as well as to potentially provide Ukraine with these aircraft in the future.
"We know what is needed for Ukraine's long-term defense needs. So we are actively discussing with them what their long-term security needs are going to be," Kirby said.
