"Nuclear" statements by self-proclaimed President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko indicate that Russians are deliberately "killing" concept of global nuclear deterrence.
As informs Censor.NЕТ, this was written by the Advisor to the Head of the President's Office Mykhailo Podolyak in Twitter.
"Nuclear statements by Lukashenko (the nominal leader of Belarus and a VIP propagandist for the war) directly indicate that Russia is deliberately "killing" the concept of global nuclear deterrence and "burying" the key global nuclear non-proliferation treaty. This fundamentally undermines the principles of global security," he said.
Podoliak noted that there can be only one solution in this situation. The advisor to the head of the Presidential Office emphasized that a tough position of the nuclear powers, relevant UN/IAEA resolutions, comprehensive sanctions against Rosatom, and systemic financial sanctions against Belarus and Russia are crucial.
