It is noted that the monitoring covered Russian state TV channels ("Planeta RTR", "Russia 24", "NTV-Mir", "360"), online media ("Izvestia", "Moskovsky Komsomolets", "vesti.ru", " RIA", "Radio Sputnik", "Vedomosti", "Parlamentskaya Gazeta", "AiF", "Kommersant", "Lenta.ru", "TASS", "SM.News", "bloknot.ru", "Public Service News") and the online version of the radio station "Radio Sputnik" for the period from the full-scale invasion to May 2023. The National Council's analysis of Russian media resources made it possible to assess the regularity of Russian media reports in the context of the deportation of children and to determine their interrelationship and systematicity. So, it was found out that:

  • 15 out of 20 media taken as a basis for monitoring and analysis disseminated information justifying Russia's illegal actions in the context of the deportation of Ukrainian children;
  • 11 out of 20 – disseminated information that discredits Ukraine in the context of protecting Ukrainian children from the consequences of war and deportation;
  • 17 out of 20 – disseminated information discrediting Western states, Ukraine's allies and partner organizations in the context of protection against the consequences of war;
  • 10 out of 20 – resorted to spreading information in all the above directions (discrediting Ukraine, Western countries and justifying the actions of Russia).

"Considering the fact that satellite versions of many Russian TV channels are available in European countries and the world, as well as online media - in the global information field, we can say that the disseminated theses can also affect residents of the European continent and other countries with attempts to harm the policy of supporting Ukraine. In general, in the rhetoric of Russian high-ranking officials, the justification of the criminal deportation of Ukrainian children by Russia occurs due to the formation of the idea that Russia actually has only good intentions and seeks to save Ukrainian children from the imaginary threat of Nazism and/or fascism," the National Council notes.

  • the arrest warrant issued by the ICC (International Criminal Court) against Putin poses new challenges to the chances of peace;
  • a secret society of pedophiles takes revenge on Putin by order of the International Criminal Court;
  • the ICC warrant for Putin's arrest was issued due to the fact that Western sanctions are not in effect;
