Zelensky initiated emergency meeting of National Security Council due to occupiers undermining dam of Kakhovka reservoir, - Danilov

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has decided to hold an emergency meeting of the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine in response to the explosion of the Kakhovka reservoir dam.

This was reported on Facebook by NSDC Secretary Oleksii Danilov, Censor.NET reports.

"President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has decided to hold an emergency meeting of the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine in connection with the explosion of the Kakhovka reservoir dam," Danilov said.

Earlier, the South Regional Military Command said that Russian occupation forces had blown up the Kakhovka hydroelectric power station. Subsequently, the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, said that in 5 hours the water would reach a critical level. Evacuations began.
