Oleshky on verge of humanitarian crisis, - Kherson Regional Military Administration

In flooded Oleshky in temporarily occupied Kherson region, sewerage system is not working, and there is no electricity or water almost anywhere.
This was announced on the air of the telethon by the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration Oleksandr Prokudin, informs Censor.NЕТ referring to Ukrinform.
"We understand that there is a huge number of victims there (in the flooded and occupied settlements of Kherson region - Ed.). There is a terrible stench in Oleshky now - the sewerage system is not working, there is no electricity or drinking water almost everywhere. The town is on the verge of a humanitarian crisis. And we understand that there are dead people under the rubble of their own homes," said Prokudin.
He said that only 11 residents have been officially identified and the cause of death has been determined.
"This figure is very low because Russia is trying to hide the fact of mass deaths. Quarantine has been introduced there: the bodies of the dead are being taken away, and doctors are not allowed to examine them to determine the fact and cause of death," Prokudin emphasized.
According to the CMA, the situation in the occupied Holoprystan community is also very difficult.
"Many streets are still flooded, people cannot get to their homes. There is also no electricity and water supply," noted Prokudin.
As reported by the National Resistance Center, more than 500 civilians died in the temporarily occupied Oleshky as a result of the explosion of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power plant.
