Russians are trying to advance in Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, and Mariinka directions, - General Staff

The aggressor is concentrating its main efforts in the Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, and Mariinka directions, with over 30 combat engagements taking place over the last day.

This is stated in the morning report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Censor.NET reports.

The situation in the Volyn and Polissia sectors remained unchanged.

In the Siversk and Slobozhansk directions, the enemy conducted air strikes in the areas of Ohirtseve and Pletenivka, Kharkiv region. It carried out mortar and artillery attacks on the settlements of Novovasylivka, Stepne, Vorozhba, Kindrativka, Andriivka, Pysarivka, Nova Sich, Slavhorod in the Sumy region, as well as Udy, Vetaryne, Hraniv, Kozacha Lopan, Pletenivka, Tykhove, Varvarivka, Budarky, Chuhunivka, Ambarne in the Kharkiv region.

In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive actions in the direction of Sinkivka. He conducted an air strike near Kyslivka. Odradne, Kolodiazne, Krasne Pershe, Fiholivka, Novomlynsk, Dvorichna, Zakhidne, Masiutivka, Kyslivka, and Berestove in Kharkiv region came under artillery and mortar fire.

In the Lyman direction, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive actions in the direction of Bilohorivka, Luhansk region. It conducted air strikes in the areas of Nevske in the Luhansk region and Ivanivka, Torske, Bilohorivka, Dibrova, and Spirne in the Donetsk region. Nevske, Dibrova, and Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region and Torske, Serebrianka, Verkhnokamianske, Spirne, and Rozdolivka in the Donetsk region were shelled with artillery.

In the Bakhmut direction, the enemy carried out air strikes in the areas of Bohdanivka, Bila Hora, and Pivnichne in the Donetsk region. Hostile artillery shelling affected Rai-Oleksandrivka, Vasiukivka, Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Novomarkove, Chasiv Yar, Ivanivske, Ozarianivka, Pivdenne, and New York in Donetsk region.

In the Avdiivka direction, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensives in the vicinity of Severne and Avdiivka. It carried out air strikes near Avdiivka and Nevelske. It fired artillery shells at the settlements of Lastochkino, Avdiivka, Karlivka, Pervomayske, and Nevelske in the Donetsk region.

In the Mariinka direction, the enemy conducted offensive actions in the direction of Maryinka and Pobeda in the Donetsk region but was unsuccessful. It conducted an air strike near Krasnohorivka. At the same time, he fired artillery at the localities of Maksymilianivka, Mariinka, Heorhiivka, and Pobeda in the Donetsk region.

In the Shakhtarske direction, the enemy conducted an air strike in the areas of Zolota Nyva, Velyka Novosilka, and Blahodatne. He fired at the settlements of Paraskoviivka, Novomykhailivka, and Blahodatne in the Donetsk region.

In the Zaporizhzhya and Kherson sectors, the enemy continues to conduct defensive actions, focusing its main efforts on preventing the advance of our troops. He tried to regain the lost position in the area of Makarivka, Donetsk region. He carried out air strikes in the areas of Storozheve, Makarivka in the Donetsk region, and Levadne in the Zaporizhzhia region. He carried out artillery shelling of the settlements of Novoochertuvate, Makarivka, Storozheve, Zelene Pole, Temyrivka in the Donetsk region; Levadne, Chervone, Hulyaypole, Charivne, Novoandriivka, Stepove, Pyatikhatky, Zaporizhzhia region; Zolota Balka, Mykhailivka, Dudchany, Ivanivka, Sadove, Molodizhne, Bilozerka, Antonivka, Kherson and Dniprovske in Kherson region.
