Over 1,500 defenders from Zhytomyr region died during war
The number of servicemen who have been injured, contused, crippled or ill is also increasing. The status of a person with a disability as a result of the war has been established for 2.8 thousand people.

"Unfortunately, the Zhytomyr region has sad statistics - more than 1500 people who defended the independence, sovereignty, and territorial integrity of Ukraine died. The number of servicemen who were injured, contused, maimed or sick is also increasing.
The status of a person with a disability as a result of the war has been established for 2.8 thousand people. Since 2014, the regional consultative Center for assistance to the families of war veterans has been operating in the region, which ensures the coordination of the activities of territorial communities of the region on issues of accompanying the families of war veterans," the message reads.
