Most foreign components are in Russian "Iskanders" and "Kindzal", - Defence Intelligence

The largest number of foreign components, on which the Russian Federation critically depends, in two products - "Iskander" and "Kindzal".
This was said in an interview with RBC-Ukraine by the Deputy Head of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Vadym Skibitsky, Censor.NET reports.
"About 50 components of the electronic base in these missiles are foreign-made," he said.
According to him, limiting their supply to the territory of the Russian Federation will lead to limited production of these missiles.
"We are now very actively working on this, working with our partners to prevent Russia from establishing, and even more so, increasing the production of high-precision weapons," said Skibitsky.
He reported that Russia has already exhausted the components for the Iskanders and Daggers that were available before the war. "We have information about how all these components entered the territory of the Russian Federation," he said.
Skibitsky said that Moscow receives components for missiles at the expense of countries that have not joined the sanctions. "Many components enter through countries that have not joined either the sanctions of the European Union or the sanctions of the United States of America. I will not name now, but the list of these countries is known," he said.
According to him, there are a lot of elements that are not even military or dual-purpose, but civilian. "And in today's world, it is difficult to control when this component is, in fact, considered civilian. Nevertheless, we have this information, and I hope that, together with our partners, we will still block all channels of supply of such components to the territory of Russia," Skibitsky said.
He noted that not only components are under consideration. "There are other issues related to the manufacture of weapons. Modern machines, software, certain materials, and substances that Russia needs for the manufacture of weapons. All of this is under primary control today. And our task now is to clearly identify what is needed by the Russian military-industrial complex, what components Russia uses, what it lacks in order to prevent the resumption and increase of production on the territory of Russia," added the deputy head of the Defence Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
