During July 4, Russians shelled 9 communities in Sumy region - RMA
On July 4, Russian troops fired 36 times at border. 268 explosions were recorded. Bilopilska, Velykopysarivska, Hlukhivska, Esmanska, Znob-Novgorodska, Krasnopilska, Mykolaivska, Seredyna-Budska, and Yunakivska communities were shelled.

In particular, the following areas came under fire:
- Krasnopilska community: the enemy used artillery (31 explosions) and mortars (5 explosions). As a result of one of the attacks, 3 private houses were damaged.
- Bilopilska community: mortar shelling was carried out (18 explosions). There was also a helicopter attack with unguided aerial missiles (UAMs) (8 explosions) and grenade launcher (GLG) fire (21 explosions).
- Velykopysarivska community: there were mortar attacks (44 explosions).
- Yunakivska community: 15 mines were dropped by Russians on the territory of the community.
- Miropilska community: mortar shelling (31 explosions) was carried out, which damaged a private household building and a lyceum. The Russians also fired artillery (18 explosions), which damaged 2 private houses and a former farm building.
- Esmanska community: there was mortar shelling (38 explosions) and artillery shelling (4 explosions).
- Seredyna-Budska community: mortar shelling (4 explosions).
- Hlukhivska community: a grenade launcher attack (23 explosions) was recorded
- Znob-Novgorod community: mortar shelling (6 explosions).
- Mykolaivka community: mortar shelling (2 explosions).
