Ministry of Defense on counteroffensive in South: it is impossible to clear mines faster, enemy has advantage in number of weapons and people
Demining the territories in the south is impossible due to technical issues. The Russians were preparing for a counteroffensive and were fortifying.
Deputy Minister of Defense Hanna Maliar announced this during the telethon, Censor.NET informs with reference to Liga.Novyny.
"The Russian Federation has been preparing for such a war for 30 years, they have a lot of resources, they can afford it. We must understand that our troops are breaking through mined areas and strong enemy resistance, this slows things down," said Maliar.
She added that Russia has an advantage in the number of weapons and people. Despite this, Ukrainian soldiers reduce the defensive potential of the invaders.
"Ukraine will not have more people than the Russian Federation, demining is impossible faster, there are technical features and rules," the deputy minister summed up.
