Russians lied about intercepting ATACMS, - Air Force

Air Force spokesman Yuriy Ignat said that the pictures of the engine from ATACMS, which the Russians are publishing, do not mean that they managed to shoot down the missile.
He announced this on the air of the national telethon, reports Censor.NET with reference to Liga.net.
According to him, when the Russians talk about allegedly "shooting down" ATACMS, they need evidence.
"If they took a picture of the engine from the ATACMS that was found after the impact, that doesn't mean they shot it down," Ignat said.
He noted that ballistic missiles can be shot down - this has been proven by Patriot air defense systems, but confirmation is needed.
Earlier, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation announced the alleged "interception" of two ATACMS missiles.
The occupiers published photos of ATACMS booster units, which Ukraine recently received from the US, probably in small quantities. According to their information, which is confirmed by OSINT resources and messages in local chats about explosions, the rockets fell in the early morning of October 25 on the temporarily occupied territory of the town of Bilorichensky near Luhansk.
