Mobilization in Ukraine is difficult, but the situation is not catastrophic. Territorial recruitment centers are constantly recruiting people.

As Censor.NET informs, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Oleksii Danilov stated this on the air of Ukrainian Radio.

He also noted that it is the prerogative of the military to decide who should be recruited into the ranks of the Armed Forces today.

"At the beginning of the war, there was a large wave of people who stood shoulder to shoulder to defend our country. More than 618 days have passed since the start of this war, and the process is ongoing. We have not stopped the process of mobilization of our citizens for a single day. We have recruitment centers where military people who are directly subordinate to the military work. They call as many people to perform duties as they see fit. Of course, the issue is complicated, but this does not mean that it is so catastrophic that you need to shout "help, everything is lost," Danilov said.

The Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council added that the recruitment system has already been established, and the decision on whether the army needs a person is made by the military.

"Now people who come to the recruitment centers undergo a medical examination. After that, if the military believes that such a person is needed for the army, for the protection of security and defense forces, the training process must take place. That is, it is already a well-established system. It's a process that's constantly moving forward."

As for who the army needs today, according to Danilov, "The war is starting to gain momentum and is moving more into an intellectual component. Therefore, as for certain types of the Armed Forces, it is the prerogative of the military, whom they need to recruit today."
