The Pecherskyi court of Kyiv extended the preventive measure for the People’s Deputy Nestor Shufrych in the form of detention. He will spend two more months in the detention center - until December 15.

According to the decision of the Pecherskyi District Court of Kyiv, the ex-deputy of the banned OPZH (Opposition Platform – For Life) party will be detained until December 15.
Lawyers intend to file an appeal.
Before that, on October 11, the Kyiv Court of Appeal decided to uphold the measure of restraint for Shufrych in the form of detention.
On September 15, the Pecherskyi District Court of Kyiv chose a measure of restraint for Shufrych in the form of detention for 60 days without the right to bail. The deputy is accused of high treason. He was taken into custody directly in the courtroom.
