Russia rehabilitates mercenaries of the "Wagner" PMC, who staged Prigozhin mutiny, - British intelligence
The mercenaries of the "Wagner" PMC were rehabilitated in front of the Kremlin after Prigozhin’s failed rebellion in June 2023. In Russia, they were issued "certificates of combat veterans". This is the first time that the Wagnerites are officially recognized as veterans.

As noted, on November 14, 2023, veterans' certificates were issued to some fighters of the "Wagner" PMC.
The Russian Ministry of Defense has established a new system that allows "Wagner" mercenaries to receive veteran's certificates and corresponding payments.
The "Wagner" group was recently included in the management structure of the Russian Guard.
According to British intelligence, these actions most likely signal the rehabilitation of some parts of "Wagner" by the Russian authorities.
"This happened after a long period of uncertainty about how the administration of the Russian Federation will treat the fighters of the "Wagner" PMC after the failed "March for Justice" in June 2023," the British Ministry of Defense noted.
