An enemy Su-24M bomber is shot down near Zmiiny Island.

This was announced by the commander of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Mykola Oleshchuk, Censor.NET reports.

"I am pleased to inform you about the destruction of a Russian Su-24M bomber near Zmiiny Island, which, under the cover of a Su-30SM fighter jet, tried to launch a missile and bomb attack on the south of Odesa region.

Thanks to the successful operation of the South Air Command, the Ukrainian anti-aircraft missile unit sent the Russian "drying up" after the "Russian warship", Oleshchuk said.
