Ukrainian Air Force sets record for shooting down Russian Kinzhal with Patriot system, - Zaluzhnyi

On January 2, the Ukrainian Air Force shot down a record number of Russian Kinzhal anti-aircraft missile system with the help of the American Patriot system.
This was announced by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valerii Zaluzhnyi, Censor.NET reports.
"Today, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine shot down 10 out of 10 Russian X-47M2 Kinzhal air-launched ballistic missiles using the Patriot system. This is a record. The consequences would have been catastrophic if the missiles had hit the target.
We are grateful to our partners for the anti-aircraft missile systems. There is no reason to believe that the enemy will stop there. That is why we need more systems and ammunition for them," the head of the Armed Forces wrote on social network X.
As a reminder, on January 2, according to the State Emergency Service, a Russian missile attack killed 5 people and injured 119 others.
The Air Force, in cooperation with the Ukrainian Defense Forces, destroyed 72 air targets: 10 out of 10 X-47M2 "Kinzhal" aerial ballistic missiles, 59 out of 70 X-101/X-555/X-55 cruise missiles, and 3 out of 3 Kalibr cruise missiles.
