Koretsky, deputy of Poltava Regional Council, continues to own business in Russia, in particular hotel in suburbs of Moscow, where Russian military stays - mass media

Mykola Koretsky, deputy of the Poltava Regional Council from the "Fatherland" party, continues to own several businesses in Russia and the "Rus" hotel in the suburbs of Moscow, where Russian military personnel stay.
This is stated in the material of NGL.media, Censor.NET informs.
Koretsky's business, according to him, began in the 90s with the resale of KrAZ trucks from Kremenchuk to Russia. Together with his partners, he developed the KrAZ dealer network in Russia.
After 2014, Mykola Koretsky transformed his company "Alfatex", which used to simply trade-in equipment, into a machine-building enterprise for the production of municipal special equipment, which used both MAZ spare parts and other foreign manufacturers. "Alfatex" immediately after the start of production began to participate in public procurement for the supply of utility equipment.
According to journalists, after the occupation of Crimea and part of Donbas in 2014, Koretsky did not give up his assets in Russia. His businesses continue to operate in Russia and make a profit even after the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation.
"In the declaration of the deputy of the regional council in 2020, Koretsky did not hide his Russian companies, as well as the presence of real estate in the Russian Federation. All these companies continue to work," the article says.
Currently, Koretsky is the sole owner of the company "KrAZ-Rostov", which is registered in the city of Surgut, Tyumen region. For 2022, the net profit of the company amounted to 6.4 million rubles (about 50 thousand dollars).
He also owns the real estate rental company Aktiv-Plus, registered in the Russian city of Kemerovo.
According to journalists, Koretsky owns 80% of KrAZ NN LLC in Nizhny Novgorod. In 2022, this company declared more than 8 million rubles of revenue ($56 thousand) and 1 million rubles of profit (about $8 thousand).
"Koretskyi is also still a co-founder of the RusKrAZ company, which has been importing cars from Ukraine since 2007. As recently as 2017, this company traded with Poltava companies. In 2020, Koretskyi officially transferred almost the entire share (99.9%) in the company to the Russian Dmitry Stykhin, but did not leave it completely. "RusKrAZ" continues to work on the automobile market of the Russian Federation, in 2022 its profit amounted to 9.3 million rubles ($74.1 thousand)," the authors add.
In addition to trade, Mykola Koretsky also has a business in the hotel sector. In 2006, Koretsky founded the hotel "Rus" in the village of Selyatino, 30 km from Moscow, where he appointed a Russian, Oleksandr Laponov, as the director. The hotel with 65 rooms is still open: spending a night here costs from 2,740 rubles to 3,900 rubles. However, in April 2022, at the address of the hotel, Laponov created another company, "Hotel Rus", where only he is listed as the founder, without Koretsky. However, Koretsky's older company has not yet been liquidated and even received 15.5 million rubles ($124,000) in revenue for 2022.
The hotel is located next to the location of the military unit of the 60th Command Brigade of the 1st Guards Tank Army of the Western Military District of the Russian Land Forces, and, according to reviews, Russian military personnel stay at the hotel.
Journalists managed to talk to Koretsky: he reacted quite emotionally to questions about existing business in Russia.
"How can I do this? Why are you provoking me? If it bothers you, I will give you the order to go and close [the business]," he suggested in a phone conversation, refusing to answer the question on the merits.
He later sent a message to NGL.media briefly describing the problems he was having with his Russian companies.
"At one time, I was a KrAZ distributor in the CIS countries. Therefore, I opened more than 30 companies there to sell KrAZs. This is a well-known story.
And she will not make any sensation. Firms that remained open do not work. There are various lawsuits with counterparties (someone didn't pay for our cars, the director ran away somewhere... the lawsuits are ongoing). Since 2014, suing in Russia has become even worse... that's why cases are not closed... somehow. And from 2022, even the employees of my Russian companies practically do not communicate with me, because they will face prison for this. Such cases... Amen," explained Koretsky.
The journalists asked the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine to get an official clarification on how Ukrainians can now close their businesses or withdraw from the founders of enterprises in Russia. However, in response, they received only advice "to contact the competent authorities of the Russian Federation on the raised issue directly or through an authorized person."
