Mazepa’s detention is not pressure on business, it’s stupid mistake – Kozhemiako

Vsevolod Kozhemiako, the founder of AGROTRADE Group, military officer and founder of the Khartia (Charter -ed.) unit, commented on the detention of Ihor Mazepa.

This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to the Facebook page of Vsevolod Kozhemiako.

"It is obvious that the detention of Ihor Mazepa in the old land case has either a corruption or political background. I'm translating it into modern language: he said something wrong (maybe), didn't support someone (not very likely), or simply refused to pay at the request of law enforcement racketeering (most likely). In any case, it has nothing to do with justice or fairness.

I probably worded it a little too harshly and should have written about "a bad signal for business," but this f#ckery is become completely exhausted. I apologize," he said in the post.

Earlier it was reported that the State Bureau of Investigation detained Ukrainian businessman Ihor Mazepa, founder of the investment company Concorde Capital, on 18 January while he was crossing the Ukrainian-Polish border.

Later, law enforcement officials reported that Mazepa was suspected of creating a criminal organization and seizing 7 hectares of land near the Kyiv hydroelectric power plant.
