It is possible for Ukraine to regain control over the sky, - Kuleba
Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba believes that Ukraine’s goal of regaining control of its airspace, including through F-16 fighter jets, is achievable.
The head of Ukrainian diplomacy said this at a joint press conference with Lithuanian Foreign Minister Gabrielius Landsbergis in Kyiv, Censor.NET reports citing Ukrinform.
"Everything is realistic, and the war has taught us this. If we get F-16s, if we have our own combat and reconnaissance drones - this is the importance of our cooperation with Lithuania - if we have electronic warfare and missiles, we will control our skies. All this is achievable," Kuleba said.
He added that all these decisions are currently being implemented, and "there is nothing unprecedented here, we just need to get all these elements in sufficient quantity and at the right time."
"This is what we are working on, and this is why the European Peace Fund is very important, it will create additional opportunities and means to provide these elements for Ukraine," the Foreign Minister stressed.
