Zaluzhnyi’s dismissal affected trust in Zelenskyy - KIIS poll. INFOGRAPHICS

Valerii Zaluzhnyi, Kyrylo Budanov, and Volodymyr Zelenskyy are among the leaders of the Ukrainian trust rating. The level of trust in the president declined after he dismissed the Commander-in-Chief.
This is evidenced by the results of a poll conducted by the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology (KIIS), Censor.NET reports.
Valerii Zaluzhnyi is the leader of Ukrainians' trust: 94% trust him, 5% distrust. The situation has hardly changed since December.
The head of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, Kyrylo Budanov, is trusted by 66% (in December this figure was 60%) and distrusted by 19% (in December it was 20%).
Trust in President Volodymyr Zelenskyy now stands at 64% compared to 77% in December (distrust increased from 22% in December to 35% in February).
Trust in Serhii Prytula is also at a very high level. He is trusted by 61% and distrusted by 33% of Ukrainians. In his case, there has also been a decrease in trust (from 69% in December, distrust has increased from 25% to 33%).
"The results of the poll do not allow us to talk about specific reasons for the growth or decline in trust, but we can assume that there is a joint impact of V. Zaluzhnyi's resignation, which was superimposed on a rather difficult period - a difficult situation at the front, uncertain position of Ukraine's key allies (especially the United States), and continuing corruption scandals," commented Anton Hrushetskyi, Executive Director of KIIS.
The poll was conducted on February 5-10, 2024, via telephone interviews using a computer. A total of 1202 respondents were interviewed from all regions of Ukraine, except for the occupied Crimea. The margin of error in peacetime should not exceed 3.2% for figures close to 50%, 2.7% for figures close to 25%, 2.1% for figures close to 10%, and 1.4% for figures close to 5%.
