The Russian Embassy in Lithuania was attacked with Molotov cocktails on two consecutive nights. Law enforcement officials are investigating the incidents, but no one has been detained so far.

On 7 and 8 April, at night, unknown persons threw incendiary mixtures at the Russian Embassy in Vilnius. The diplomatic mission was attacked for the first time at 2:15 am on 7 April, and for the second time a day later, at 2:46 am on 8 April.
According to Lithuanian media, the Molotov cocktails were thrown not from the main entrance, which is guarded, but from the opposite side, where the consular section is located.
According to preliminary data, the bottle with flammable liquid thrown on Sunday night did not catch fire, only the contents of the bottle thrown on Monday night caught fire.
At the same time, there are CCTV cameras on the territory of the embassy. The footage shows a man throwing a Molotov cocktail, and the embassy security staff handed over the footage to law enforcement.
No one has yet been arrested in connection with the attack. The Russian Foreign Ministry did not comment on the situation.
