Prokudin about attempted assassination: Not first attempt
Oleksandr Prokudin, the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, confirmed that an attempt was made on his life. According to the official, this was not the first time.
Prokudin said this on his Telegram channel, Censor.NET reports.
"Since this morning, I have been receiving many requests from the media to comment on the information about the attempted assassination attempt on me. Yes, it is indeed true. And unfortunately, this is not the first and probably not the last attempt," he said.
"I knew what I was getting into when I agreed to work in the frontline region. Every day in Kherson region, civilians suffer and die from Russian troops' attacks. The occupiers are targeting and shelling civilians from drones. I am a human being like everyone else, this is our everyday life. I want to thank the SSU for the operation. The most important thing is that another collaborator who betrayed the country has been exposed," Prokudin added.
Earlier it became known that the SSU prevented an assassination attempt on the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration Oleksandr Prokudin.
