The enemy strikes Chasiv Yar in Donetsk region with guided aerial bombs, using its air superiority.

According to Censor.NET, citing Interfax-Ukraine, this was reported by Nazar Voloshyn, a spokesman for the Khortytsia OSGT, during a telethon.

"Now the enemy is putting pressure mainly on the Bakhmut direction. The situation around the town of Chasiv Yar in Donetsk region is difficult. The defense forces control the situation. There is no enemy in the town. The enemy is still using its air superiority, missiles and large-caliber artillery ammunition, trying to conduct assault operations," said Voloshyn.

He noted that the enemy assault groups are driving infantry fighting vehicles and attacking with the support of reconnaissance and strike drones.

"Now the enemy is also throwing GABs at the town of Chasiv Yar, destroying civilian infrastructure. In total, about 20 to 30 bombs, and sometimes more, are dropped by Russian aviation on the positions of Ukrainian defenders and civilian infrastructure per day," he said.

Voloshyn added that the Russian tactic is to "raze settlements to the ground," completely destroy them and take control of "a pile of dust."
