During the war, 2.8 million people have been evacuated from dangerous frontline areas

According to Censor.NET, citing Interfax-Ukraine, this was stated by the head of the State Emergency Service, Andrii Danik.

"Our Phoenix evacuation unit is operating in the Donetsk region in cooperation with the White Angels police unit and regional military administrations," Danik said.

He also said that, according to the regional military administrations, more than 2.8 million civilians have been evacuated from dangerous areas across Ukraine since the start of the full-scale war, including by the SES units. Among them are more than 670,000 children and more than 102,000 people with disabilities.

Danik noted that units are currently evacuating children and adults from the Toretsk community every day.

Earlier, it was reported that despite the forced evacuation, parents and children were secretly returning to Toretsk.
