China supports start of negotiations between Ukraine and Russian Federation, but conditions and time are not ripe yet - Foreign Minister Wang Yi

China is positive about the start of negotiations between Ukraine and Russia. However, Beijing believes that the conditions and time for them are not ripe yet.
This was stated by the head of the Foreign Ministry of China, Wang Yi, during a meeting with his Ukrainian counterpart Dmytro Kuleba, Censor.NET informs.
He noted that the settlement of all conflicts should ultimately take place at the negotiating table.
According to China, both Ukraine and Russia have recently signaled readiness for negotiations.
Recently, both Ukraine and Russia have sent varying degrees of signals that they are ready for negotiations, although the conditions and time are not ripe yet, we support all efforts that promote peace and are ready to continue to play a constructive role in this," said the statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China.
The Chinese ministry emphasized that China pays attention to the humanitarian situation in Ukraine and will continue to provide humanitarian material aid.
