Most attempts to illegally cross border were recorded on border with Moldova and Romania - SBGS
The most active attempts to illegally cross the border by men liable for military service are recorded on the border with Romania and Moldova.
This was stated by SBGS spokesman Andrii Demchenko at the Ukraine Media Center, Censor.NET reports.
He noted that attempts to illegally leave Ukraine are also recorded on the borders with the EU, but there are fewer of them.
"The most active areas are the borders with Moldova and Romania. In other areas, including the border with Hungary, Slovakia, and Poland, there are also such attempts, but in a much smaller number," said Demchenko.
According to the SBGS spokesperson, attempts to cross the border are recorded almost every day and they are not decreasing.
Demchenko emphasized that in most cases, citizens try to cross the border in green zones - outside checkpoints.
"We have not seen a sharp increase in recent times, but unfortunately, there is no decrease in the number of attempts to illegally cross the border. The days may vary - on some days we detain more violators, on other days - less, but such attempts occur daily," he added.
