Czech Republic considers ban on granting citizenship to Russians, - Interior Minister Rakusan
The Czech government is discussing a possible ban on granting Czech citizenship to holders of Russian passports.
This was stated by Czech Interior Minister Vit Rakusan, Censor.NET reports citing Radio Liberty.
"We will always be on the side of the attacked state, that is, Ukraine. We have a clear anti-Russian stance, as evidenced, for example, by the fact that we initiated all sanctions against Russia during our EU presidency.
In addition, we have the strictest legislation regarding the stay of Russians who have arrived on our territory, and we are also discussing whether we should change something about granting citizenship if we want to allow dual citizenship for a citizen of a state that is at war with us," the Interior Minister explained.
