Biletskyi on transfer of Ishkulov, commander of 80th AAF, to another position: I hope that there was mistake and brigade commander will be returned to his brigade

The commander of the 3rd Assault Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Colonel Andrii Biletskyi, commented on the public appeal of the 80th Air Assault Forces regarding the transfer of Brigadier Emil Ishkulov to another position.
The corresponding comment was published on Facebook by the Editor-in-Chief of Censor.NET Yurii Butusov.
"Emil is my comrade-in-arms and a personal friend. Comradeship is what builds trust in war, and what really drives people in battle. For almost a year, the 3rd Assault Brigade and the 80th Air Assault Brigade fought near Bakhmut, attacked Klishchiivka and Andriivka, and that's when I met the brigadier, Colonel Emil Ishkulov. We were always confident about the flank covered by Ishkulov's paratroopers. We always knew that in a difficult situation, the 80th Air Assault Brigade would come to our aid, support us with fire, and it was an honor for us to come to their aid," said Biletskyi.
He also emphasized that the information "provided by the 80th Brigade command is reliable and verified, that they will never lie, that they have taken a position if our soldiers are not there, that they will never be betrayed, and that they are responsible for their decisions. We knew that the 80th Brigade was highly combat-ready because trust was built in all levels of command there."
"That's why I respect Colonel Ishkulov and consider him one of the best combat commanders of the Ukrainian Armed Forces brigades, and this is a key position in war, as only a brigade commander is responsible for everything - for his line, his soldiers, his assigned, his weapons, his supplies, his reports, his combat capability, and the destruction of the enemy. Unfortunately, we are sorely lacking such comprehensively trained brigade commanders in many areas. That is why I was surprised to hear that the brigade commander was being transferred to another position. I hope there was a mistake and we are not throwing away the best combat officers at a critical moment in the war," said the 3rd Assault Brigade commander.
Biletskyi also expressed hope that Brigadier Ishekulov "will be returned to a place where he can maximize his leadership skills and experience to defeat the enemy and stop the occupiers' large-scale offensive. He will be returned to his brigade".
What preceded it?
The day before, the commanders of the battalions and divisions of the 80th Separate Air Assault Galician Brigade of the Airborne Forces appealed to President Volodymyr Zelenskyi with a request not to dismiss Brigadier Emil Ishkulov. Colonel Ishkulov has been leading the brigade since the end of 2022.
Subsequently, the Air Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stated that Emil Ishkulov was to be transferred to a higher position.
