A video was posted online showing the moments of the surrender of Russian border guards at the Sudzha checkpoint.

According to Censor.NET, a significant number of the prisoners are Russian conscripts.

"The full video of the operation at the Sudzha checkpoint in the Kursk People's Republic, where about 50 Russian border guards and conscripts raised a white flag, laid down their arms and surrendered. The Russian command left them without support, abandoning their soldiers to their fate," the author of the publication notes in his commentary.
